Customize the 404 page for KB widget

In Document360, when a page redirects to a 404 link, the platform allows customization on the Knowledge Base (KB) site, including company branding and custom messaging. However, when a user encounters a 404 link through the KB widget, the customization options are limited.
We would like to have the same level of 404 page customization in the KB widget as is currently available on the KB site. This would help provide a consistent and familiar experience for users who land on these pages due to broken links or missing articles.

Thank you for sharing this request.
Currently, the 404 page customization available on the KB site is not fully supported within the KB widget, which follows a more constrained rendering framework.
We understand the need to maintain a consistent user experience across both the KB site and the widget, especially when users encounter broken or missing links.
We’ll review the feasibility of extending 404 page customization to the KB widget and evaluate what changes would be required to support similar branding and messaging options.
We’ll share an update once we have more clarity from our evaluation.
