Custom emoji
Klari Nemeth
We would like to use our own user interface icons in the text within an article, like buttons and labels. This is the most obvious way to refer to them when we explain what these are used for.
We had this feature (to add custom emojis) in the previous documentation platform that we used and now this is a step back in content quality.

Please can we get custom emojis. Not something we use often but it would be nice if the tick, cross and some other back icon emojis could match our colour branding. For example I don't want to use a green tick and a red cross. It feels too hostile and dated. We definitely don't want staff importing images because they won't sit in line with the text. Might even be nice to assign a custom emoji to a bulleted list. I know that is a big ask though... but it would definitely support style branding. Thanks for considering this request.
Also Glenn Elliott's comment below makes perfect sense too! Definitely a use case for that.

We have also requested this in the past, as with our previous documentation system we had a custom emoji at the end of a client name that would allow a technician at a glance to know what kind of support contract that client had. Since moving to Document360 and losing the custom emoji it can take technicians a long time to figure out the support contract of a particular client.
