As an aside, could someone please tell me what is "...the current index page scheme..."? Online help says very little about indexes and I'd like to know if I'm missing something useful.

Would you want the Index page to update automatically when new articles are tagged, or should it refresh only on publish?

The index page should update automatically when a new page is published with the specific tag or the tag is added to an article.

Should the page display articles from all categories or allow filtering by specific categories/projects?

At a minimum, it should filter for all Categories. It would be good to have additional filter options like filtering by Tag and category.

How would you prefer the articles to be displayed — as a simple list, or with metadata like author, last updated date, and description?

Following the current Index page scheme is fine.

Should users be able to create multiple Index pages, each linked to a different tag?
