Conditional Access Policy for the Teams integration
backlog
Ramesh Lokesh
For the Teams integration with Document360, we use the Bot Connector approach to facilitate communication with Teams. Currently, this method does not support enforcing conditional access policies that restrict bot traffic to corporate devices or specific IP ranges.
While such conditional access controls are available for the knowledge base site, they are not yet implemented for the Teams integration.
One of our customers has requested the ability to apply conditional access policies for the Teams bot connector as well. This would allow them to control and limit which users can access the Teams application integration.

Hi Ramesh abhik balasoupramanien.ramachandran - Thank you for bringing this to our attention and sharing your requirement for conditional access policy enforcement within the Teams integration.
We understand the importance of maintaining secure access—especially when it comes to enterprise environments where access needs to be limited to corporate devices or specific IP ranges. While conditional access policies are currently supported for the knowledge base site, you're right that this capability is not yet available for our Teams Bot Connector integration.
At this time, this enhancement is not part of our immediate roadmap, but we’ve added the request to our feature backlog for future consideration. We’ll be monitoring similar requests from other customers, and should we see increased demand, we’ll revisit this for prioritization.
We truly appreciate your input—security-related feedback like this is essential to helping us evolve the platform responsibly. Please feel free to share any specific use cases or compliance needs that would further help us assess the scope.
