Comparing Different Release Notes (not page history)
under review
TARIQ PATHAN
Hi,
Would love to have a feature, which provides ability to select a previous Version from drop-down and fetch all content from previous releases up till the current releases. Specifically for Release Notes.
Example: Current RN version is 23.1.4 and Previous RN version selected is 23.0.0-beta4, then compare will give you all content from 23.0.0-beta4 TO 23.1.4. From customers perspective, it is useful to have such feature, where they don't need to go to each RN and understand what capabilities are provided from version 'w' to version 'z'.
Does this sound like a cool feature ?
Please check and let us know, when this can be prioritized.
Regards,
Tariq

TARIQ PATHAN based on the screenshots shared I believe this is from the KB site, and user is selecting from multiple workspaces?? Kindly confirm on this to get better clarity, so as to assess this furthermore.

Thiru: Each workspace is a product. Inside each product (workspace), we will have categories with different versions and releases. Comparision will be done inside a single workspace (Product) comprising different Release Notes version.
Example WORKSPACE (product) is ABC.
Category1: Release Notes 1.0.0
Category2: Release Notes 2.0.0
Category3: Release Notes 3.0.0
Compare between 2.0 and 3.0, will give all features in 2.0 + 3.0.
Does that help ?

Hi Thiru, Did you get a chance to check on this ?
Above example elaborates the req in detail. When customers want to understand, what features will be available when they upgrade from release 'V' to release 'Z' -> It should give a union and aggregation of features supported from release 'V' to release 'Z'. That will help customer to understand if they upgrade from V to Z, these are set of features available.
Pls check on this and get back.
