Bring split screen editor/preview to advanced wysiwyg

I watched a webinar this week (July 01, 2026) and the presenter used the old markdown editor and was able to show the editor AND the preview in the same window with a split screen.
REQUEST: Allow those who are not using Advanced WYSIWYG editor to do the same. Why was that not carried over? This could be a great help when looking at content - especially when utilizing conditional blocks.
Thanks.
I asked the chatbot and it told me this:
In the Advanced WYSIWYG editor, you can’t view the editor and a live preview side by side in the same window. That split view (editor on the left, live preview on the right) is a feature of the Markdown editor, not the Advanced editor. (https://docs.document360.com/docs/markdown-editor)

Hi Xanadu Capybara,
Thank you for sharing this feedback.
We understand the value of having a split-screen editor and preview experience, particularly for users working in the Markdown editor who need to validate formatting, conditional content, and overall layout while authoring.
This request is currently under review. We'll evaluate the feasibility of reintroducing or providing a side-by-side editor and preview experience for users who are not using the Advanced WYSIWYG editor, based on customer feedback and authoring workflows.
We'll share updates once we have more clarity from our assessment.
