Prevent search bar from popping out

This behavior is extremely confusing for customers who already see a search bar on the page, then having another search bar pop up when they click on the original search bar.

bring back the option to use the Filter box on the Category Tree in site v2.0

our users find site v1.0 very useful the Filter box on the category tree without having to leave the page or pop-up the search. this has now been removed in 2.0. requesting the configuration option to keep displaying the Filter box like in v1.0. the folder structure is critical and filter box allowed them to more easily select the right page.
