Articles published/updated by time period

I would love to be able to generate a list of all the
new
articles published in a given time period, as well as the number of articles that were updated
in the time period. Currently, you can only provide a list by publication date, but there's no way to determine whether it's a new or updated article, and any article that was updated again after the end of the time period is not included. That is to say, if I export a list of articles published in December 2022, what I get right now is only a list of what was published that month but not since then; if I have an article that I published in December but then updated in January 2023, it is not included in the December list.
This would be very helpful for our reporting purposes, to allow us to know how many new and updated articles we're producing.
Thanks for considering this request.

Thiru another six months have passed. Is there any progress on reviewing this issue?
Thiru
Suzanne can you please look into the "All Articles" in Documentation and apply date, status filters to retrieve the expected results for recently updated articles. Kindly access our newly revamped Document360 2.0 portal and let us know.

Thiru: When I look at "All Articles", there is a Date field but this represents the Updated On date. Here your label is totally unclear. Even the label Updated On is unclear as what this really represents is Last Modified date.
What Suzanne and I are looking for is a search that asks "was an article/category published on a date?". It not need to be the last time it was modified.
In short, "All Articles" does not satisfy our requirement at this point.
Suzanne
Thiru: I appreciate your efforts, but as David Gregory pointed out, the Date field still doesn't really tell me anything. I want to be able to filter articles by
Publication
Date OR by Last Updated
Date. This still doesn't allow that.David Gregory
Suzanne I would love to understand how you are getting your current list of articles "by publication date". Can you share that, please?
Suzanne
David Gregory: sure. It's under Content Tools / Documentation / Bulk Operations. I filter for Visible articles with status Published, and then just sort by date. (When I was trying to figure out what we published/updated in 2022, I just filtered for those dates.) It's not really meaningful in the way I'd like, but it's better than nothing.
