Article Revision Navigation and Forking Behavior

In the Article Revision History section, when an older version of an article is opened without forking, the UI displays the content of that older version. However, if we compare two versions (e.g., v1 and v2) and then select the "Back to Article" option the system redirects to the latest version instead of the older version being viewed. The issue occurs across all the editors.
We also have concerns about the presence of the "open" option when an article is forked. Simply forking an article does not automatically load the latest version in the UI, and we must click "open" to view it. We feel this creates confusion and believe the latest version should be displayed automatically upon forking, without the need to select "open."

Hi Obsidian Macaw Thanks for sharing the feedback on behalf of customer.
- When clicking on "Back to Article," from compare versions screen, the system should route users to the last viewed version rather than the latest version.
- When forking an article from any version, it should open the latest forked version.
We’ll keep you updated once this has been prioritized.
