Currently, when an article redirection rule is created, it applies to both normal documentation and API documentation. The "Ends with" redirection rule primarily works based on article slugs. If two articles share the same slug, one in normal documentation and one in API documentation, both are impacted.
To improve this functionality, our customers have requested:
Segregation of redirection rule settings for normal and API documentation.
A warning message if a redirection rule affects multiple articles with the same slug.
Visibility of dependencies while creating an article redirection rule to avoid unintended impacts.
