Apply article redirect rules to Preview

The current behavior that article redirect rules only apply after publication, not for Preview, mean that for articles with a slug change, we have to publish them for quality checking instead of just using Preview. This creates unnecessary churn. It's not intuitive that article redirect rules don't apply to Preview as well - it feels like a bug. Could you perhaps fix this behavior? Many thanks :)

We understand the concern around article redirect rules not applying in Preview, especially when validating slug changes before publishing. This can indeed add extra steps to the QA process.
We’ll review this behavior internally and check the feasibility of supporting redirect rules within the Preview environment as well.
We’ll share an update once we have more clarity from our evaluation.
