I just spent some time using Gerard U's work around, posted in April last year.
This is really very simple and no less convenient than inserting any other links via a copied URL
I worked with a Published instance of the article and an Editable instance of article (both open at the same time).
In the Published instance, select the the heading to be linked TO, right mouse click and "Copy link to highlight"
In the Editable instance, select the text (or object) that will serve as the link 'button' and add a link (from the edit tool bar) a and paste in the copied address.
That's all there is to it

Glen Collingwood: Hi Glen! I tried Kovai's function for this today for the first time (since I read it's supposed to be working now), and it's not working for me.
So in need of an immediate fix for a published article with 4 ineffective links that we were counting on, I just used the approach you shared, and now have 4 working intra-article links. Thank you for the save! :)
Kovai, do you have identified bugs with this new feature? My experience was that the links just refreshed the article, and didn't "jump" to a lower section. Please share any updates about this that you have.

Given the recent release of a feature only for enterprise and above customers, please indicate whether this feature will be available for all paying customers or only those that pay more than others.

Why are we still waiting for this. You have released an awful lot of low value features recently and seem to be ignoring a feature that should have been available from day 0.
The original request was raised when dinosaurs roamed. Please accelerate.

The insert link allows to make a link to another article, it would be easier to also make a link within the article via the Insert link function, without having to write code manually to obtain the link: See also Header

We would like the ability to add same page cross-references. For example, if we want to reference information under a different h2 title in the same article, we can insert a link that, when clicked, will navigate the user to that section on the page.
