Analytics support for decision trees
backlog

I have recently started using the new Interactive Decision Tree feature and have published several trees to our knowledge base. While the feature itself is excellent for guiding users through complex processes, there is currently no way to track their performance within the Analytics module.
The Problem: Because Decision Trees aren't currently integrated with Document360 Analytics, I have zero visibility into:
- How many users are accessing/starting a tree.
- The 'drop-off' rate (where users stop following the steps).
- Which final 'nodes' or articles/links are reached most frequently.
Without this data, it’s impossible to measure the ROI of these guides or identify where users are getting stuck. We need basic page-view tracking at a minimum, and ideally, 'step-level' analytics to see the paths users take. This would bring the feature to parity with the excellent analytics provided for standard articles.

Hi Wisteria Prawn,
Thank you for sharing this detailed feedback. We understand how having analytics for Interactive Decision Trees—such as usage, drop-off points, and most-reached outcomes—would be valuable for measuring impact and optimizing user guidance.
At the moment, analytics for Decision Trees are
not prioritized
on our roadmap. While we agree this would bring the feature closer to parity with article analytics, we don’t have a timeline to share right now. We’ll keep this feedback on record and revisit it as priorities evolve. If you have specific success metrics you’re aiming to track, feel free to share them—it helps inform future planning.
