We need to maintain the count of comments provided within the Organization for teams' progress and productivity. Based on the workflow we set, the comment counts provided on each phase (Peer Review/Technical Review) need to be separately managed. Can we have a separate Analytics for the same?

Hi Pavithra, myself Hiral
Our documentation team operates in a highly collaborative environment where all members contribute to every article, rather than being assigned individual pieces. This collective ownership helps maintain content quality and consistency, but it also makes it difficult to track individual contributions and performance, especially in terms of feedback received.
To assess team efficiency and productivity, we rely on two main types of feedback:
Peer Review (PR) comments – from within the documentation team.
Technical Review (TR) comments – from cross-functional teams such as Dev, BA, or QA.
Currently, we use Google Docs for authoring and reviewing our documentation, and are currently in the process of transitioning from Google Docs to Document360 to streamline our documentation workflows. As we plan this migration, one of the key concerns we aim to address is this very challenge: How can we easily track and quantify the number of Peer Review and Technical Review comments received by each team member, without having to manually dig through hundreds of articles?
Having an automated way to fetch and filter comment data will help us:
- Gain visibility into individual contributions.
- Make data-driven performance assessments.
- Improve transparency and fairness in evaluations.
- Save time by eliminating manual data collection.
Let's go through an example:
Let’s say in the month of April, Team Member X worked on around 10 articles.
They received:
- 15 PR comments from peers.
- 5 TR comments from technical reviewers.
That’s a total of 20 comments received in a single month for 10 Articles, this is an important feedback that helps measure involvement, responsiveness, and content quality.
With the right tooling we want to automate this data gathering and make it easily reportable by member, time period, and comment type.
