Adjust table column width by inserting the PX value
Ramesh Lokesh
Currently the table column width can be adjusted using the drag option. One of our customers would like to set the table column width by inserting the PX value. The customer would like an option to be provided that allows the users to specify the table column width in PX values, instead of dragging the table column width.

Our customer Michelle Van Kolck provided feedback regarding the addition of images in table columns. When images are inserted into a column, the column width automatically adjusts and can shrink the image.
In SharePoint, for instance, you could set an image width to 300px, and the column would reduce in size until the image's size prevented further shrinking. To make the column narrower, you would manually resize the image to fit the desired column width. Although this added an extra step, it allowed for more precise control over column widths by defining them to an exact pixel measurement.

Specifying PX values is really only going to be helpful when your article text column is a specified width as well. The specified PX values would conflict with a responsive design, whereas percentage values would not.

One of our customers Michelle Van Kolck has suggested a request to use this feature similar to SharePoint that would allow users to adjust table column widths by specifying PX values.

Being able to manually set the column widths via percentages would be great as well.
