To have sorting function or URL mapping for knowledge base as currently it is not sorted by any order which is hard to search through the pages.

Sorting for URL Mapping
Monika Mathew
Posting on behalf on Cycode. They use URL mapping a lot and have requested to have a sorting feature as they are unable to find the URL mapped names. Their reqyest is to have a basic alphabetical ordering alongside sorting options which should also includes dates. This way, they needn't scroll through all the pages to find one.

We have hundreds of entries in the URL mapping for our knowledge base wizard.
Each entry reflects a UI page of our software solutions.
Often, these existing pages are changed or extended with new features. Resulting in new articles in Document360.
We want to easily add these new articles to the URL mapping of the applicable page entry.
However, the list of URL mappings can't be searched nor sorted to quickly find the relevant page entry.
It would be great if a search option is provided here and/or an option to sort the URL mapping entries by name (alphabetically).
This will save us a lot of time finding and editing existing URL mappings.

Current behavior:
The URL Mapping list has no search functionality. With a large number of mappings (we are already approaching 1000), finding a specific existing mapping requires manually paging through the entire list.
Problem:
As the number of URL mappings grows, maintaining them becomes increasingly difficult. To update a mapping created in the past, there's no way to search or filter by URL, the only option is to scroll/page through the full list one entry at a time to locate it. This is time-consuming and doesn't scale for customers like us with large mapping volumes.
Requested behavior:
Add a search bar within the URL Mapping section that lets customers search by URL or other keywords, to quickly locate and update existing mappings, instead of manually browsing the full list.

We also request sorting. Some sort of filtering would be great as well as we will most likely have 200+ URL mappings

Hello! Is there an update on this request? We have two widgets, each with 6 pages of URL mappings, and are constantly adding more. It's currently difficult to manage and stay organized, especially since the mappings are automatically rearranged so the most recently edited mapping is moved to the top of page 1.
We would love a sorting option, or even better - a search option to find URL mappings by searching for the name of the mapping.

Hi Monika, Thanks for sharing the feedback on behalf of the customer.
We completely understand how difficult it can be to locate specific entries without sorting capabilities, especially when working with a large number of mapped URLs.
Your suggestion to introduce basic sorting options—such as alphabetical ordering and date-based sorting—makes perfect sense and aligns with our goal to improve usability.
We’ve captured this request and will be evaluating it further. Once it’s prioritized and picked for our roadmap, we’ll make sure to keep you updated on the progress.

Yes, there is no ability to sort on any column, there is no column for last updated, there is no filter, and there is no search. It would be very helpful to have any of these management abilities for the mappings.

HI Thiru , am replying on behalf of Xiaorui . We will not require the sorting option in the KB Assistant > Setup Configuration > URL Mapping.

I have ~90 mappings so I have to search manually across 4 pages of URL mappings to find the one I want to edit, so would be great to allow sorting on the URL mapping columns instead.
