Add a toggle to hide/unhide PDF templates without deleting them

Currently, once a PDF template is created, it automatically appears and remains visible across the site. The only way to remove a template from view is to permanently delete it there's no way to temporarily hide or disable one.
Teams often create multiple PDF templates for testing, seasonal use, or drafts-in-progress. When a template shouldn't be active or visible anymore, the only current option is deletion, which is destructive and means losing the template's configuration entirely if it's needed again later.
Add a toggle (e.g., "Active/Inactive" or "Show/Hide") on each PDF template that lets users hide it from the portal/site without deleting it, and re-enable it later when needed.

To better understand the use case, could you please clarify:
How many PDF templates do you typically maintain in a project?
How many of these templates are usually active/available for selection at a given time?
Since users can select a PDF template while exporting from the Knowledge Base Site, is the primary requirement to hide inactive templates from the template selection list there?
Should an inactive template also be hidden from PDF export options in the Portal, or only from the KB Site?
How frequently do you need to switch templates between active and inactive?
Are there specific scenarios where you need to temporarily disable a template (e.g., testing, seasonal branding, template updates)?
This will help us understand the scope and expected behavior of the Active/Inactive option.
