Sometimes we copy/paste from a document such as a google doc and it copies the formatting from the google doc. Removing all the formatting so that it's according to the CSS is time consuming and difficult. please add a clear all formatting button.

+1 for this too, but also.....
When using the WYSIWYG editor and you copy from within that editor and paste into the same or another article it also copies over background color. If I have info in a private note and paste it into another private note or a blank area it will copy over the background color of the private note itself and inject a whole bunch of garbage HTML which you dont see until you publish the article, then it's very aparent when you have some text seemingly highlighted in purple. If you edit that document again you'll see all the garbage in the HTML view.
That needs to not happen by default.
And copying from Document360 to Notepad, then from Notepad to Document360 does not strip off formatting, Document360 seems to remember the formatting unless you make one character change in Notepad and then copy it, then it gets counted as new unformatted text. Support were able to replicate this when I reported it a year ago and nothing has changed.

Hi Deborah, Robert, Sean, Stuart ,Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We’ll review the request and prioritize it depending on the level of traction it receives.

Good idea! Specifically, the option should keep all the document elements (tables, bulleted/numbered lists, headings, links, etc.) but look like it was composed inside Document360 and not like something the cat dragged in.
Online HTML cleaners like https://html-cleaner.com are sometimes okay as a stopgap, but clean import/paste of outside documents is needed every day and will be a basic, indispensable feature of Document360 once it exists.
I'd like to see this feature not only as a button we can use at will, but as the default (with the ability to override) on document import or pasting from outside. I never want an imported document to look like it came from another planet.
"Paste as plain text" is nowhere good enough.

Yes! I just paste into notepad or I use the Windows Clipboard (Windows Key + V) to choose the plain text paste. But having the option in the app is always great.

There should be this option in the editor's HTML view as well!
