Agree with everything said here already - this feature is so needed! Document360 Engineering or Document360 Support or Thiru - can someone provide an update on this? It seems to be a popular request that's been pending for over 4 years.

And it also affects analytics when you cannot convert articles to categories and vice versa in that there is not a unique ID that can be carried across.

Allow creation of sub articles for articles

Currently, we can create sub articles only under category pages. If we have to create a new sub article, we need to copy all content from an existing article to a category page and then create a sub article under the same. This is time consuming and also breaks links that were pointing to the original article. Please create a feature to allow creation of sub articles under articles directly.

Hi Shalini S, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that the current process of creating sub-articles only under category pages can be time-consuming and may cause link breakages.
At the moment, the ability to create sub-articles under articles is not part of our roadmap. However, we would like to understand if an alternative solution could address your need. If we introduce a feature to convert an article into a category page and vice versa, would that help streamline your workflow?

This would be an optimal solution as currently it is necessary to create a new category (or article) and paste in the entire old article. While this is done easily enough, you lose the historical analytics of the original article since analytics are tracked to the internal filename.

I totally agree. As I'm creating structure for my knowledge base there are time I want to nest articles, but I sometimes don't know that is the case until I've created several of them.
Having the ability to switch back and forth (or just having articles act like pages), would be very helpful in this process.
