Ability to add categories that are separate from the yaml file

Kate Reuveny
I would like to add categories and articles to the API documentation, but which are separate from the imported yaml file.
For example, I have an Overview, Getting Started and Common Flows categories – this content was originally in a Word document and separate from the yaml file. They contain text and images.
I added this information as new categories under the Api Reference and then dragged them above the Api Reference category.
Unfortunately, when I uploaded the updated yaml file, and deleted the old Api gateway, these categories were also deleted

Hi Kate - Thank you for providing your feedback. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide further clarification on this matter. To illustrate, let's consider a scenario where you initially uploaded YAML A file and subsequently added API references. Following this, you proceeded to establish categories and articles related to the YAML A API reference. At this point, you chose to utilize the "Edit API reference" option, uploading YAML B file over the existing YAML A. As a result, both the API endpoints from YAML A and YAML B are visible within the API reference associated with YAML A. It's important to note that this process ensures no data loss occurs.
Additionally, you mentioned the topic of rearranging API reference categories, specifically by placing a category above another. However, this behavior has been intentionally restricted due to unexpected outcomes and identified bugs. Rest assured, the issue has been addressed and resolved. I kindly request you to review this once more and inform me if you encounter any persistent problems. If the issue continues to persist, I kindly ask if you could share references such as screenshots or videos to help us pinpoint and address the issue more accurately. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
