When you change the name of a page, (e.g in a first draft), the name that appears in the tab of the page does not get changed

The very first name that you set, does not change, when you change the page name. That is the meta-title does not change, and does not get updated if you change the page title. Also a problem if you create a page from a template . OR if you start with a temporary name. This is a recent change

It's been 6 months since this was flagged as "under review". Are there NO updates to this? This is a significant usability issue and just plain looks "bad" to readers.

Are there any updates on this?

Thiru Basically a year since this was marked as under review. I have experienced this issue also, it got pointed out to me by a client (quite embarrassing).
When the name of an article changes the tab meta data should also update to reflect the new title.
Preferably the slug should also be updated too with an automatic redirect for the old slug to be created.

We also notice that the tab name does not change when the page title is updated. This is also a concern for us.

Hi
I want to expand the issue I am experiencing here
I want to change the name of a page
If I change the title, the menu name does not get updated
I I change an article title , I have to change the menu separately, the Metatitle and the actual title, this is a lot of work and not logical
