/upToo hard to scroll down article list on left

Per this screenshot:
The slider that support scrolling up and down the category/article list is difficult to invoke. It's like walking a tightrope. Unless you position your mouse pointer EXACTLY, it does not render.
Not only is this behavior frustrating. But can lead to accidentally moving an article or category to an undesired location. And then you wonder "What happened to my article?"/"Did I lose my article?"
I suggest making the slider wider so that it's easier to invoke. And since it's too easy to move an entity up or down, you should require that the mouse pointer be on the blue/yellow/green dot on the left.
As an add-on, the platform should prompt user "Confirm moving _______ from _____ to ____." to prevent unwanted moves.
Thank you.

Thiru: It seems to me that functionality is much improved!

Vidhya, per your comment, I tried scrolling. There MAY be some improvement, but I'll need to evaluate the performance during normal workflow. Thanks.

Hi Stephen Kairys
We are pleased to inform you that our team has fixed the issue in the patch release. We request you to validate the scenario once again from your end and keep us informed on the same.

I'm currently trying to manage a folder with over 500 articles, and scrolling using the scroll bar is nearly impossible. The maintenance menu button (the three dots) needs to be reduced in size, so it does not interfere when you hover over the scroll bar. It's also practically impossible organizing this large folder manually, because scrolling and dragging/dropping articles is tedious to the point where it's not a good use of my paid work time. Please fix scrolling, and please add the ability to simply alphabetize articles in editor, which is another issue...

Hi, hate to be a pain, but this issue happened again. A category got moved inside another category "behind my back". Please prioritize this issue. It's more of a concern now b/c we're close to launching our KB and customers need to reliably locate categories and articles. Thank you.

I agree. I have stopped using the scroll bar in the editor because I have accidentally moved folders and articles too many times. I use the Page Up and Page Down buttons on the keyboard which is not optimal but works better than the scroll bar.
Having the scroll bar a set width and already activated instead of hovering the cursor over just the right spot to activate it, would help a lot in avoiding these accidental moving of articles.

Mary Theis: Thank you for your upvote. :) Question: where do you place your mouse pointer to enable the Page Up/Page Down scrolling?
Mary Theis
Stephen Kairys: I select one of the categories or articles in the CATEGORIES & ARTICLES pane, then hit the PageUp or Page Down keys.
Stephen Kairys
Mary Theis: Thank you for your helpful suggestion.
