Synch Highlighting Text in BOTH Block Editor and Code View
Barbara Dreyer
In wysiwyg editor, it’s possible to select (highlight) text first, then open Code View and see the same highlighted text. This makes it efficient to find the text I need to modify in Code View that I was looking at in wysiwyg editor.
Doesn’t work in Block Editor > Code View. Highlighting text first in Block Editor then opening Code View does not show the highlighted text. This makes it harder to find what I need to examine and possibly modify in Code View. Since Block Editor markup is different from wysiwyg, this is even more challenging to figure out. I would like the highlighting to be supported in Block Editor like it is in wysiwyg.
Request:
1. Open article in Block Editor.
2. Select (highlight) text.
3. Open Code View.
4. See the highlighting on the text in code view that reflects what I selected in Block Editor so I can quickly identify what I need to examine and possibly customize.
Thanks!

Barbara Dreyer- Thank you for posting this. I've yet to start using the block editor. However, I rely on the functionality you mentioned and would not feel comfortable switching to Block Editor until this issue is fully implemented.
