Portal and Site Search Inconsistency

When searching for a term in the documentation portal and site, I get more search results on the site.
This is problematic when we're trying to update existing content in our documentation, and we don't get all the results.
Below you'll see a list of search results from the site. When searching for the same term in our documentation portal, we get four results, which do not include the search results shown in the screenshot.
