We have created partner accounts for our clients, where we have provided them with limited access to our knowledge base.
However, they are able to access the articles from the restricted categories, when those articles are placed as Referenced Article under the non-restricted categories.

For more clarity: Let's say we have created an article A under the restricted category Z and we have added the article A as reference article under the non-restricted category Y. In such a case, the client should not be able to access the article A, but it is not working as expected.
