Image files in drive no warning if overwriting

When I use "insert image" on a page to insert an image with the same name as an existing image, I expect the system to warn me that an image of this name already exists, and ask if I want to overwrite this. The system does not do this.
In addition, if I use the same image file in more than one place, if I overwrote my existing file, the system uses the old version in other places.
I was working this way as I tried using Replace in drive, and it did not work (images were not updated)

Thiru Not quite sure I understand
- Replace image - choose an image in drive and replace it - super feature works very well
- Uploading an image which has the name of an existing image - no warning is given to user saying: "an image of this name already exists" Are you saying that this is fixed?

Caroline Tabach when you add an existing image into the drive, then by default incremental value in the name will be appended in the image and still continue to upload in the drive. However, the image replace event takes time to be performed as this needs to be reflected across articles if the same has been inserted, and an appropriate information is displayed to the user has been communicated as well.
