It is not possible to turn off H2, H3 or H4 options. Once it is used, it's impossible to discard it and return to previous text formatting.

Olga, I believe this issue is now resolved, I tried to replicate on both Markdown/WYSIWYG editor and it's working as expected. If you still experience the problem please let us know.
