Header in Design Template ; Logo

In 'Content tools / Export to PDF' I am trying to customise the Header section of a Design Template.
1) From what I can see here I can add only a logo. Is there a way to add instead a long header across the top of the page?
2) I imported the logo image in several different sizes and shapes, but once imported the logo always appear extremely small, on both the preview and on the article pdf. Is there a way to have the logo in the header to show up in a decent size ?

Paolo Ciuchini we have addressed the image size issue by enabling users to adjust height & width of the image. Kindly request you to validate this at once.
