Browser search in code view doesn't produce all results
complete
David Gregory
When using the WYSIWYG editor using the code view, only the results that appear visually on the page appear to be included when using the browser find text.
The only solution I have for this is to copy the code view to an external editor, locate what I am looking for, perhaps make some changes and copy the content back.

Hi David Gregory
Greetings!!! Hope you are doing great.
We are sorry to hear about the search issue you are experiencing in the WYSIWYG editor. We could see this limitation in the existing editor. Could you please try the same in the Block editor and check whether it is working as expected?
David Gregory
Vidhya: No, the problem with the Block editor is quite different. Text located in the Block editor is shown twice for every match. First in the WYSIWYG view of the Block editor it shows the match behind the code view and then it shows the match within the code view. This is awkward in my opinion.

David , Elizabeth- We have fixed the issue in the Advanced WYSIWYG editor. Could you please check and confirm?

Document360 Support I'm afraid that this still doesn't work. Searching for text from the top of the page will find ones that are just off the screen but not text that is at the bottom.
As an example, I went to the bottom of a lengthy page and copied some text that was unique at that location. I then went to the top of the page and pressed Ctrl-F and pasted in this text. It returned zero results.
I am using MS Edge that has been updated to the current version.

David : As you might have observed, we have implemented the "Search" feature within the code view (in Advanced WYSIWYG editor). Hope this helps. Please check the following article for more information : https://docs.document360.com/docs/advanced-wysiwyg-editor?highlight=search%20in%20codeview

Document360 Support thank you for working on this, however this doesn't actually solve the problem that I needed to solve. My problem is that I have many, many of these search terms that I need to replace.
My best alternative would be able to search and then have a replace all option in which case I would be able to search for one term and update it with another.
Unfortunately I was not clear with this issue initially but I do appreciate the work towards this solution.
I will create a new feature request for this.
