Add link option on text selection

There should be the option to insert a link when we select text. Right now when we select a text, only text formatting options are provided. Giving an option to add a link also would save a few clicks to go to the insert menu, scroll down and then insert the link.

Hi Ambuj, thanks for your suggestion. Including the link in the floating menu is in our pipeline. We will incorporate this in our forthcoming release. As of now, we have provided an additional function in the text selection, the keyboard shortcut key "ctrl+k" to include only the external links in the edit page. We will keep you posted on the update. Your patience and understanding are appreciated.
