Enterprise customers migrating from knowledge-graph-based platforms often carry large multilingual product catalogues where tags function as filterable metadata at scale — covering thousands of product model codes, components, and categorical attributes across articles. The current platform tag limits are not designed for this volume, which creates a blocker for onboarding these customers onto standard SaaS infrastructure. Proposed solution Increase platform support to: 1,000 tags per article 100,000 tags per project Engineering feasibility has been confirmed, with an estimated implementation effort of approximately one week including testing. Use case An active enterprise POC in the manufacturing space, targeting a Q4 go-live, has a multilingual product catalogue with thousands of model codes, components, and troubleshooting concepts. Their content model relies on tags as the primary mechanism for filtering articles by product and category. Without enabling this scale, the customer would either require a dedicated hosting setup (which has been declined on cost grounds) or be unable to migrate. It's a shame we're so limited by character counts across the board. Same goes for comments, labels etc. Please could you massive increase the character count across the board (metadata, comments etc.) Thanks!

Currently, tags are displayed based on creation order instead of alphabetical order in both the article settings tag selection dropdown and Manage tags section. The customer would like tags to be sorted alphabetically to improve usability, especially for new users and larger teams managing a high number of tags. This enhancement would make it easier for users to quickly identify and select the required tags without manually searching through randomly ordered entries.

To ensure proper categorization, every article must have at least one tag, which should be enforced by an error message that blocks publication until a tag is provided.

The customer frequently uses the term OMS+ in their articles, and Eddy rightly recommends it as a tag. However, the system currently doesn’t allow them to add tags containing special characters like +, which creates a blocker for their workflow.

It would be helpful to allow users to follow specific tags within the knowledge base, so they can receive notifications whenever new content is published or existing content is updated with those tags

Currently, tags for articles do not display in the order they are added upon publication; instead, they appear in a random order, making it difficult to prioritize specific tags for visibility and relevance. Displaying tags in the order they are added, or allowing users to rearrange them manually, would provide a more effective way to manage tags in the desired sequence.

We would like the ability to implement a tag structure for each workspace. Currently, tags are created at the project level.

This request was created on behalf of Silke At this time, we can only add tags for the entire knowledge base including all the languages. We have more number of tags and we would like to use them in all the languages. It would be better if we have an option to translate the tags created in one language to another, we will be able to map them for the respective language. With that, if there is an option to filter the tags based on the language, we will be able to identify and assign the tags according to their language. Thank you.

we need to group the tags belonging to a group of devices or one of our services so that while tagging the article you need to tag the group so that the individual tags will be added to the article. If one new devic is added to this group, only the tag has to be added and all documents will also be shown if you search for this new device..
