Feature Request

The customer prefers the search bar to be displayed inline, similar to its appearance in KB Site 1.0, rather than as a full-screen overlay. Currently, in Site 2.0, the search bar appears as a pop-up at the top of the site. The customer is requesting the previous design from Site 1.0.

When searching for a term, it should include glossary entries within the search results. In this way, if there is a synonym listed in a glossary term then it should show that term and provide a way for the reader to understand the correct term to use within this knowledge base.

The more I use the search engine, the more frustrated I am with it. It pays no attention to quotes, so when I search for "user site" it returns every article that has the word "user" and the word "site" in it. Some of the results only have one term or the other! That's unacceptable.

When search finds the keyword(s) in an accordion, the accordion should be open by default when user goes to that article.

Users can search for the same thing in different ways. For example, a/b-test OR ab-best OR ab test. We want to add these variations to the article but so it's not visible on the page. Why adding them via tags doesn't work: defies the purpose of the tags; that's not how they are supposed to be used for organizing, looks bad because tags are there - on the page. So adding "a/b-test ab-best ab test" would look like something technical is popping up, not the content that user actually needs from the article

The search result should not show article that is not published or referenced anymore. We are having the search result showing but when click on the link we would get the 404 page

I understand that you use a certain hierarchy when retrieving search results. However, from a user's perspective, when I search for a specific section title in an article, it often appears at the bottom of the search results instead of being prioritized at the top. This can make it difficult for users to find the information they need and can result in our articles being overlooked or unfound. It may be worth considering adjusting the search algorithm to prioritize section titles and improve the user experience.

Advanced Search is a great feature. ButI do not really want my end-users to be exposed to the names of all the people who write articles in Document360. Can it be possible to hide the contributors possibility (or maybe configure which filters will be available here?) thanks

Could you make the terms from the Glossary appear in the search results? Often people search for the meaning of abbreviations using the search bar so it would be useful if the term from the Glossary appeared in the search results.

It would be extremely useful to be able to search using Search Operators. (e.g., OR, AND, "", *, etc.) to make searches more precise. For reference> https://ahrefs.com/blog/google-advanced-search-operators/
